Liverpool / Sefton - Mersey Tri Owned Sessions
Coached RUN. Meeting at Dunes Splash World, Southport, PR8 1RX
7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sessions circle the 400m perimeter at the south end of the Marine Lake at Kings Gardens. Typically covering 6Km to 10Km including warm up / warm down. Hi-Viz and / or head-torch needed.

Run session. 6.45 p.m. Meeting at Sefton Park Boating lake on Aigburth Drive, L17 4JE.
Sessions are dedicated to Sprint Intervals, Hills, Negative Splits and Pyramid Threshold training and are run at various paces. Sessions typically cover 6 km to 12 km including warm up. The sessions rotate each week & have a committed following of members. Runners of all abilities are welcome. Please note there are no changing facilities available.

Coached Track session 10:00 - 11:00 at Litherland Sports Park. L21 7LA. This runs from October to April. Cost is £3 .
Wirral - Mersey Tri 'Welcomed' Sessions
Tuesdays & Thursdays:
We now have an agreement with Wallasey AC that Mersey Tri members can run with their Club sessions on a Tuesday and Thursday evening.
Tuesday sessions are dedicated to Fartlek, Interval, Hill and Multi-Terrain training and are run at various paces. Thursday session is a more social event with general conditioning, circuit training or a steady tempo road run of about 6 miles.
Meet for both nights at 6:20pm for a 6:30pm start at Harrison Hall, Wallasey Village, CH45 3HP
Cost £1 a run
We also now have an agreement with Wirral AC for Mersey Tri members to run at their coached track session on a Wednesday evening.
The session begins at 6:30pm and costs £1. Meet at the metal steps on the inside of the track, next to the start line. The track itself can be accessed by the main entrance in the grandstand of the Oval Leisure Centre Running Track.

These sessions are demanding interval sessions ( eg 5 x 1k intervals ) and would be best suited to those with some running / triathlon background.
There are male & female changing facilities under the Grandstand
