to between 4 and 7 seconds during a gentle jog.
We know that so many factors affect the breathing from stress in the muscles,
partial pressure due to posture  pollution and  increased levels of positive Ionisation.
Learning to retrain the breathing process  specific exercises encourage negative ionisation
allowing more oxygen and qualityof air to enter the body and feed the organs.
learning how to relax  at an optimim level helps change the breathing process.
Reducing the  amount of mucus that inhibits the internal exchange of gases
Resting breathing rate is  av 15 second per minute..   Good progress following breath
retraining can be found to be 4- 8 breaths perminute during a comfortable jog.
