As the nights draw in we've switched from open water to the pool & the first Monday swim at Crosby saw a good turn out (Monday's 9-10). The Friday swim at Bootle (8-9) is also in full force and a fab session to hone the technique.
There is no excuse not to be PB'ing on the run next spring. The regular Tuesday run is ever present and is really we attended. The Litherland track sessions are back up and running (Sat 09:30), great to build speed and form.
This winter has also seen the start of Half Marathon club (Thurs 18:45, Sefton park boating lake).
Last week saw the "Red bull" progression run, the turning point was literally a red bull!
This week it's "Triple hit hills" 3 hills, 3 laps.
Winter miles = summer smiles.....
