Something about you that many people do not know?: Used to be a heavy drinker and played for my local pubs dart team weighing in 2 stone heavier than current weight
If you could tell other athletes one thing you have learned so far in your training what would it be?: Rest is important
What is your ultimate goal as an athlete?: Keep fit and keep healthy
Favourite Race / Course?: Wirral Triathlon
What's your most memorable racing moment?: Trying to mount my bike at Llandudno triathlon and missing saddle landing on rear wheel.
Then trying again another 2 times and doing the exact same thing twice. Ended up with really sore nether regions and a foot that was cut to ribbons
Any unusual race day routines or superstitions?: Always have a KFC night before a race (Sunday races only). Not really a race routine though just a Saturday night routine ha
What race / event / ride is on your bucket list?: Would like to do an iron-man before I'm 40 but not sure family commitments would allow for the training involved.
Swim: 2nd hand HUBB wetsuit
Bike: Home built Chinese frame I-can roadie, Giant Talon mtb, Dylan Scala TT
Run: Adidas adizero adios
Nutrition of choice: Goodness shakes recovery shake chocolate
What piece of equipment couldn't you live without?: Garmin. Also can't wear any other training shoe without getting injured.
